Perfect Satire

I’m sure you’ve seen this, and for the record, I never re-post other peoples’ stuff. But when someone else does it this well, the rest of us are only going to look like cheap knockoffs if we say anything at all.

This video, “The Trailer for Every Oscar-Winning Movie Ever,” is the perfect satire and the perfect lesson in avoiding cliche. Laugh and learn — and respect the power of observation at work. This is a genuinely brilliant short film that I really wish I had come up with.

Tonic for A Long Week

You know what? It’s been a long week. I was going to write something with a little meat to it, but nuts to that. Sometimes we need to stop with the how-to stuff and just indulge our souls.
